I distinctly remember watching the Atelier Versace fall 2015 couture show unfold on my Tumblr dashboard earlier this month. The collection primarily consisted of breezy, soft hued dresses, and the models looked like goddesses as they sashayed their way down the runway. As photos of this show quickly began circulating their way throughout the blogging website, I noticed one shot in particular that was gaining far more attention than the others. This look was the closing piece worn by Karlie Kloss, and it was absolute perfection. It’s really no surprise at all that Donatella Versace chose this outfit to be the finale piece, as it was an absolute stunner and undoubtedly stole the show.

Now my take isn’t exactly as glamorous as it was on the runway (although I definitely wish I could rock that same couture dress). It is, instead, a more toned down version of the look. It still rocks the same gorgeous lavender hue that the runway dress had, and it also gives off a similarly breezy and ethereal essence. I find lavender to be a perfect color for the season, as it’s a lovely yet subtle color that reminds me a lot of a gorgeous summer sunset. While this dress may not possess the same bold cutouts that the dress did, it features a chic, backless design that certainly gives it a daring flare. When it comes to accessories, gold bangles on my wrist are always my go-to when it comes to glamming up a look, while a gold-chained clutch is both fashionable and functional. Bring it all together and you’ve got a breezy, airy and ethereal look perfect for the summer season. Donatella would approve.
