As the winter months approach, it is very likely to see me in an outfit like the one above. I love rocking darker colors in the cold months, and layering up different patterns. This flannel is from Urban Outfitters, and has honestly become a huge staple in my wardrobe.I can throw this on over any simple top and make my outfit pop just a bit more! The brand Ace & Jig showed a huge collection of plaid and layering in their RTW fall 2014 show, and inspired this specific outfit. My sweater is this awesome textured piece from Free People, and is super warm and thick. I have a serious crush on Free People sweaters during the wintertime.
For my bottom half, I am wearing these super simple, yet comfy leggings from a store called Aritzia. They are the brand TNA, and are a thicker material so they are great for cooler months. They are also not sheer whatsoever, which tends to be a main problem in the leggings industry, so that is a huge bonus! My boots, AKA my babies, are from Dr. Marten. These boots come in so many different colors and styles, but mine are the 1460 classic boot in the color black. I can pair these with anything! From leggings, to jeans and even to dresses, these boots can really work with any kind of outfit.
Accessories are also very important to add to an outfit, in my opinion. So, I added this long triangle necklace from Forever 21 and this Fossil rose gold watch. This watch is my everyday staple piece, and I really like how it makes an outfit feel more complete!
