STYLE GURU STYLE: Cute, Comfy, Sporty

Sometimes, putting on our best outfit is not part of the plan for that day. Jeans get uncomfortable, cute shoes like boots and booties often hurt our feet all day and we just want to be comfy; but also confident. This look is along the lines of something that I pair quite often. And sometimes, it seems as if I receive more compliments when I look sporty, comfy, yet put together.

Leggings are a college girl’s staple. Here, I have on a pair of my all time favorite Lululemon Wunder Under High Rise Crop leggings. While they are a pretty penny, they are high quality, flattering and extremely comfortable. I guiltily wear leggings multiple times a week but luckily, there are so many ways to style them and stay comfortable at the same time.

My tank top is a basic Nike Dri-Dit tank top. While simple, it is sure to match any pair of shoes that you pair with it. I prefer a tank top during the day just in case it gets really hot outside or a classroom. You can always add a cute athletic jacket over it if you get cold. It also looks a lite more put together than your favorite T-shirt.

My shoes are my favorite part of this outfit strictly because of the comfort. These are the Nike Pegasus Zoom sneakers. If you are like me, walking around campus is even worse if a pain if you are wearing uncomfortable shoes. These tennis shoes not only keep my feet happy all day as I walk from class to class, but the grey color allows them to match almost anything.

When it comes to a cute and athletic outfit, pairing is key. Find your favorite leggings or shorts and match it with a top and pair of shoes that match with create a solid look. Keep your accessories simple. Here I have on a dainty bracelet that I never take off and threw on my glasses for a more effortless look. I use my Longchamp bag on a day to day basis because it can easily be dressed up or down.

Find your comfort and make it your own! I am a very active girl with a love for being sporty and comfortable. Find what works best for you!
