STYLE GURU BIO: Victoria Miller

If your reading this, you’re probably a fellow Fashionista/o. My name is Victoria Miller and I just started my sophomore year at Rider University. I am a marketing major with a minor in event planning. Ever since I was little, I considered myself a Fashionista. In middle school I even had the nickname FQ Tori (fashion queen Victoria). So naturally, when I heard about CollegeFashionista, I knew I had to be a part of the #GuruGang. This is my first semester as a Style Guru and I am so excited because fall happens to be my favorite season for fashion!

My style is always changing. I have a “wear what I want” attitude and usually just pick my outfit on how I’m feeling that day. I try to wear my best, but every once in a while I have a day where the only thing I want to wear is my favorite Rider University quarter zip hoodie and some leggings. On the majority of my days, I throw on either a simple T-shirt dress or boyfriend jeans with a tank. I would consider my style to be effortless, comfortable, trendy and a little retro because I love to incorporate trends from previous decades.

Speaking of retro, I am currently obsessing over ’70s fashion like many others. I love that whenever I’m out shopping, a lot of pieces in my go-to stores feature a lot of ’70s-inspired pieces. The skirt I’m wearing is amazing because the corduroy and button-down front give that retro aspect with the bonus of being both cute and comfy. I’ve paired it with a cute off-the-shoulder top that I’ve had forever from American Eagle Outfitters. A shirt like this was definitely a must this past summer and will probably carry over to those early fall nights out. My shoes are must-have sandals from Steve Madden. Every outfit needs some accessories to complete the look. My accessories include my favorite Rebecca Minkoff Mini M.A.C. bag, Michael Kors sunglasses and a homemade suede wrap necklace. This outfit was super cute, trendy and comfortable!
