Hey there! I’m Tori Hancock and this is my second semester with CollegeFashionista and I am thrilled to be back for round two. I am currently at North Carolina State University pursuing a major in art and design with a minor in business administration. I am mad about all things style related—be it fashion, interior décor or beauty trends. Outside of those things, I am very passionate about photography, and having this platform to combine the things I love and be able to share with you is incredibly fun for me, so I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!

As for my style, I am not one of those lucky people who found their niche early on. I find myself constantly drawn in different directions—trying out new trends, bouncing around attempting to find my personal style. If you’re anything like me, fear not—there is no better time to explore your style than right now! More than anything, I believe in dressing for yourself—wearing what you feel comfortable in, both physically and aesthetically, and trying out any trend you are struck by.

One constant in my wardrobe is overalls. I cannot reiterate this any more passionately—there is never a bad time for overalls! They are a great item to throw on for a cute casual look, but they are super versatile and can be dressed up with the addition of the right pieces. These white denim overalls are a summer staple and I love pairing them with off-the-shoulder tops to give them a flirty flare. This top, with its bell sleeves and fun pattern, has playful interest elements that break up the white and give the overalls a more feminine feel. In addition to the top I went for little beige open back booties, that are very versatile and wearable in every season, to take the overalls from casual to chic.

Playing around with fashion is something I love to do, and something I look out for every day—any person with a style I admire, even if it’s not something I could pull off myself. And I am so looking forward to sharing all of that and more with you this semester!
