Hey there Fashionista/os! I am a rising junior at Kent State University where I study Fashion Merchandising. I love having the opportunity to study what I love at one of the top fashion schools in the country.
I can’t believe that this is my fourth time writing a STYLE GURU BIO! This marks my first full year with CollegeFashionista and it sure has been a RAD one. This will also be my second semester as a Social Media Intern for CollegeFashionista and I could not be more excited. I have a passion for PR and social media and I am so excited to have had the opportunity to learn and grow from fellow interns. I am so intrigued by how important social media has become to both our social and professional lives and I hope to pursue a career in this field once I graduate.
Throughout the past year my personal style has changed quite a bit. I have recently been embracing the phrase quality over quantity. Lately, I have been curating my closet by selecting pieces that are very mix-and-matchable. I am straying away from the all black trends and moving towards a wardrobe that consists of mainly earth tones. This is really represented in my ensemble pictured above. The green culottes are a chic statement piece that comes with the comfort of pajamas. I love delicate accessories, such as the triangle necklace and simple blouses are a girl’s best friend. A top that can be easily worn with jeans, a skirt or trousers is a must.
This summer I am planning to spend my time preparing for a semester abroad. You heard me right, next semester I will be channeling my inner Lizzie McGuire and studying abroad in Florence, Italy. But for now, I will be in the wonderful Queen City of Cincinnati. I can easily be found making my rounds to the best coffee shops, shamelessly taking photos of my brunch or scouring the streets for the best backgrounds. I can’t wait to see what this summer will bring and make sure to follow me along for some exciting street styles.
