My name is Toni Pringley and I’m a sophomore studying media advertising at Indiana University. This will be my first semester with CollegeFashionista and I couldn’t be more excited!
Fashion and beauty have always been my thing. Ever since I was a little girl, you could find me raiding my mom’s closet dressing up in her over-sized clothes, and strutting around the house in her heels that were way too big. My love for taking items that may not be particularly my style, or size, and putting my own twist on it, is how I would describe my style today. While many may opt to buy their clothes at high-end stores, you can find me at my local thrift stores searching through piles and piles of clothes, just to find that one unique item. There’s something really magical and satisfying with finding a piece of clothing that you know no one else will have.
My style has definitely evolved significantly over the past few years, from super girly to laid back and chic, I can say that I have definitely found my happy medium of combining dressing up and dressing down all into one outfit. Even when going to my morning classes, I make an effort to at least throw on a cute but relaxed outfit. To me, it’s important to always put the best version of yourself out there because you just never know who you may run into. For me, fashion is so much more than just clothes; it’s really an extension of who you are. I’m so excited to be contributing to CollegeFashionista this semester and hopefully more in the future.
