Hey guys!
My name is Temi and I am thrilled to begin my journey as a Style Guru. I am currently an English major at Wilfrid Laurier University and hope to use this to pursue a career in the fashion industry in the editorial aspect. Over the past few years, I came to terms with the fact that fashion is more than just a hobby to me and I want to dedicate my time to seeing just how far I can go with this passion of mine.
Fashion has always been a means through which I can express myself, literally. Whatever outfit I have on is usually a reflection of what I feel on the inside. I could be cool and classy one day and tomboy-chic the next. The latter aligns more with the outfit being displayed as I show off my more laid-back side with an oversized GUESS X A$AP Rocky collection denim jacket (the bigger it is, the better), a black bodysuit and a pair of Comme des Garçons PLAY X Converse high-tops. I also added a statement choker necklace to give the ensemble an element of sophistication and make it more than your average casual look. My personal style is always evolving but one thing stays constant through it all; a nice pair of shoes! Anything from a pair of kickass sneakers to some cute pumps is enough to bring tears to my eyes.
I am also a makeup enthusiast and when I am not checking out my favourite fashion bloggers on Instagram or completing an english essay with a fast approaching deadline, I am learning the newest makeup tips and tricks from my favourite YouTubers (Huda Beauty for one). Basically, I enjoy arts that allow for (and usually encourage) risk-taking and creativity as they encourage you to get out of your comfort zone and experiment a little bit. Not every experiment is bound to be a success but part of the fun is in the experience itself.
