STYLE GURU BIO: Tabi Hoshmand

Tabi Hoshmand, here, coming to all you Fashionistas/os for my fifth and final semester as a Style Guru intern! I canโ€™t believe Iโ€™ve been with the team for this long but boy am I happy I have. Just a little bit about me; Iโ€™m a junior at San Diego State University majoring in communications with a minor in marketing. Now, you may be thinking, a junior but itโ€™s your final year with CollegeFashionista? Iโ€™m graduating early. Itโ€™s been a fun and fast three years, but Iโ€™m currently wrapping up my final semester as an undergrad.

Iโ€™ve been lucky enough to write for the CF team for so long and have been oh so thankful for the opportunities this awesome team has given me. Along with CF, I run my own personal blog where I combined my two loves of fashion and writing. In my free time, I enjoy reading and shopping for sneakers (my new found obsession). I hope to take my career towards fashion marketing or maybe even dabble in events.

My personal style can be described in just a few words: simple with a touch of edge. You can see my rocking my typical style in this post here. I love to be comfortable so I usually choose a band T-shirt and some skinny, black jeans. For an extra bit of fun, I love to layer on great jackets. Iโ€™m currently in a jacket-obsessed phase. I canโ€™t get enough. Today, I chose this awesome gray coat with leather sleeves that has me vibing with a model-off-duty look. I also paired this outfit with pointy-toed, black booties for some more sass.

It was raining in Southern California, which is so rare, so I decided to sport some fun braids to keep my hair in place while still looking like I put in some effort.

I hope youโ€™ll catch up with me this semester as I scour my campus one last time for the Fashionistas/os.

Where youโ€™ll find me: Grabbing a venti iced green tea at Starbucks, reading a mystery novel, or at Trader Joes (Iโ€™m a total health nut).
