Hey Fashionistas/os! My name is Suzie Baldwin. I just became a senior at Iowa State University studying Apparel, Merchandise and Design. I can’t believe I will be entering my last year of college in the fall. It definitely went by too fast! I am so extremely excited to be writing for CollegeFashionista this summer and share the trends happening on my campus for you!
My style consists more of a boho, laid back style. I enjoy dressing up on occasion, but as long as I’m wearing my Birkenstocks, crewneck and my favorite high-waisted shorts, I am good to go. It’s the perfect outfit to wear on campus for spring, summer, or fall! On campus, I am involved with a fashion magazine and spend a lot of my time at Caribou.
Currently, I am studying abroad in Rome, Italy for a Marketing class for a few weeks. I will also be traveling to Paris and London while in Europe. So far, it has been such an amazing experience. I have seen so much beauty and art just by walking down the street. I will definitely miss this place in a couple weeks. In my free time, I enjoy blogging, coffee dates, shopping and watching Netflix.
One of the biggest things I have learned about fashion is that trends always have a way of coming back around. At the moment, I am really into the ’70s look, I love bell bottoms and loose flare pants. I also can’t get enough of my flower crowns! Be sure to read my posts every Wednesday!
