STYLE GURU BIO: Sheeva Izadi

Hey everybody! I’m Sheeva, and I am a senior at Eastern Illinois University majoring in marketing.  Once I am done with school, I aspire to do social media marketing for a fashion or cosmetics brand. I’m so thrilled to put my passion for fashion and social media together this semester for this #RAD internship with CollegeFashionista!

Growing up, I was always obsessed with fashion, but it wasn’t until I started college that I really allowed myself to experiment with my personal style. I wouldn’t really categorize my style as one thing or another. One day I can be super grungy and the next I can be a Blair Waldorf wannabe with my preppy pieces. My favorite days are when I mix up elements to create something totally unique. Fashion feeds the soul and I will gravitate towards anything that feeds mine.

Since I am a self-diagnosed shopaholic and constantly on the prowl for new pieces to add to my wardrobe, my style does tend to change over time with various trends. Black will always be my favorite color because of its versatility. One of my favorite pieces I own is a simple black T-shirt dress that can be dressed up or down with little to no effort at all. Currently my favorite pieces to dress it up with are over-the-knee boots and some gold hoops. When dressing it down, I like to keep things more basic with a pair of leather Converse and a comfy flannel.

Be sure to check back each month for a peek into the fashion trends on our small, Midwestern campus. Cheers to a fun-filled and fashionable semester! xx
