Hi Fashionistas and Fashionistos!
I’m Sarah, and I attend Youngstown State University in Youngstown, Ohio. I am studying marketing management in the Williamson College of Business Administration and will be starting my senior year this coming fall. We’re almost there, class of 2017!
This summer marks my first semester working with CollegeFashionista, but I learned about CF back during my freshman year. A friend of mine, who had gone away to school, was featured for her campus style and she shared the article link on her Facebook. I have loved CollegeFashionista ever since and am constantly inspired by the Style Gurus! Thanks to my recent experiences, I figured out what I want to do as a professional career. I brought the Victoria’s Secret PINK Campus Representative Program to YSU in 2014 and held the rep position for the past two years. I also worked as a marketing and PR representative for the Lala for one year. I’ve had a few other internships, but these two positions specifically ignited a passion I never knew I had. Once I earn my degree, my dream is to work in the marketing field for the fashion/retail or publication industry. CollegeFashionista is the perfect mix of all of my interests, and I couldn’t be more excited to kick off my final year of college as a Style Guru.
My style has certainly evolved over the years. I’m loving the balance I have found between dressing appropriately for the business school, while keeping my personal flair in check. Aside from dress codes, a few of my current obsessions in my closet include a killer jean jacket, oversized crews and sweaters, flare jeans and Adidas Originals. As for my beauty bar, I’ve been reaching for It Cosmetics CC cream and Colourpop Ultra Matte liquid lipsticks on the daily.
Meanwhile, the temperatures are steadily heating up in Northeast Ohio. I am eager to share my favorite summer fashion and beauty trends + tips with you over the next few months!
