Hello, I’m Saori Goto. I’m 21 years old and living in New York City. Fashion and beauty have always been two of my major interests since being a kid. I love expressing myself through how I dress. My style is always different, depending on my moods. Sometimes I’d feel sporty, and on other days, I’d feel chic—maybe even girly. I love being able to play around and have fun because that’s what fashion is all about!
Currently, New York is where I call home. Before that, I was born and raised in Tokyo, Japan. I moved here when I was about four years old. Ever since I can remember, I was always so into clothes, makeup and all of those girly things you can think of. I remember being little and putting on wigs and red lipstick, which, by the way, is one of my must-have staples! Red lips can top off any outfit and take it to a whole new level.
Secondly, being on the topic of must-haves, if you know me, black clothes are on the top of my chart. My favorite shade is black, so you can safely say that half my wardrobe falls into that category. Something about it makes me look sophisticated and put together, even if it means wearing a simple V-neck T-shirt with black denim and some cute black booties.
I am super excited to be in part of the CollegeFashionista Style Guru internship! I love being able to express myself through fashion, and being able to do that in through CollegeFashionista means so much.
