STYLE GURU BIO: Rosemarie Forgione

June 3rd, 2016 at 2:00am

After a year’s worth of sleepless study nights, cramming for exams and long work days, I am relieved to finally be able to say that it is summer and I am back writing for CollegeFashionista. For those of you who do not know me, my name is Rosemarie (Rosie) Forgione and I am a junior in college studying professional communications and marketing. Professional communications is just a super fancy way of saying public relations, so yeah, I am in PR. My plan for my degree is to fully submerge myself into the fashion world and either become a fashion magazine editor or a marketing and social media director for a fashion company.

I also plan on starting my own non-profit charity organization before I am 30. Other than wanting to make a difference in the world, both fashionably and humanely, I want to travel and explore the different countries. A woman who clearly wears many hats, I like to dabble in a little bit of everything. As an individual, I am extremely personable and love to talk about anything and everything. Fashion-wise I am one who can go from Lulu’s and Nikes to a sundress and wedges in a matter of seconds. You really never know what you’re going to get with a Gemini like myself.

My personal style is nothing less than interesting and unexpected. My style is like my personality, completely undetermined. My daily outfit corresponds to my mood, my goals and wherever my busy life takes me that day. The outfit featured here was an effortless, but stylish look. Every gal needs a little black dress, this one can be dressed up or dressed down easily. Made out of the most comfortable material, it was like walking inside a cloud. The keyhole added a little edge to the mix, making it not just your average little black T-shirt dress. Styled accordingly with the Steven Madden essential black leather flats and the signature LV Bag, where could you go wrong? I threw my hair up in a pony and on some Ray-Ban shades to top off the look for a day of delicious Japanese food and endless shopping for my future looks.

With thousands of styles to find, all of New York to explore and a whole summer todo it- I can’t wait to see what this season has in store for us. Stay tuned.
