Hello Fashionistas and Fashionistos! My name is Riannon Gibson and this is my first semester as a CollegeFashionista Style Guru Intern. I am a senior at the University of Maryland and I will be receiving my bachelor’s degree in government and politics this spring. I am extremely excited to see what this upcoming spring will bring and all the great fashion from the Fashionistas/os on campus!
I have always had a love for fashion. Even when I was a child I would flip through all the magazines searching for the season’s styles and lookbooks for the upcoming year just to find inspiration for my own wardrobe and my mother’s. She would take me shopping as her personal assistant!
Now, I am Instagram-addicted and Pinterest-loving Fashionista! My style ranges from flirty to bohemian to edgy. I love to have fun and mix up my wardrobe. I also enjoy having the opportunity to express myself in a unique way. I believe style gives one the opportunity for self-exploration and discovery. With this also comes a sense of confidence and independence in oneself.
My personal favorite pieces that make me feel confident and are my go-to’s are all the fun rompers I own, knee-high boots, white knee-high socks and scarves to add some texture to my outfits! For more on my styles and others on campus, check out my articles the middle of each month!
