STYLE GURU BIO: Rebecca D'Angelo

Ciao Fahionista/os! My name is Rebecca D’Angelo, but almost everyone calls me Bex. I am from the middle of nowhere Pennsylvania, and some how ended up in the crazy state of New Jersey. I am currently studying Fashion and Communications at a small school called Centenary College, about an hour away from the wild but beautiful New York City. I am headed into my senior year of college, and am looking forward to seeing what challenges it has in store for me. I am so stoked to share the style and fashion I see everyday with the CollegeFashionista community.

My whole life fashion has always been something I have had an eye for. Every job, up until this past year, has given me building blocks to grow my knowledge and background in the industry. It has also prepared me for the exciting fast-paced environment that the fashion world has to offer.

Although fashion is my where my expertise lies, photography is truly my passion. I have been a portrait photographer for about five years now, and there is no better feeling than being part of a memorable moment in someone’s life. I have always thought of this as a cliché hobby, but after taking a few courses in high school and in college, I couldn’t picture myself being me without it.

When people ask me, “What’s your personal style?” I can truly never give them a straight answer. My style is what I am feeling when I roll out of bed in the morning. Sometimes I am feeling the oversized “I stole my boyfriends clothes” look, while other days I want to look as though I walked straight out of the movie The Devil Wears Prada, rocking all-black. My happy place most days though is just the simple white T-shirt with a pair of skinny jeans, and then jazzing it up with accessories and shoes. Whatever style I seem to be feeling for that day, I still always find myself hunting out the most unique style.

With my notebook and camera now officially attached to my hip this summer, I plan to share my findings with you! Get ready, because there is nothing more unexpected than some summer fashion.
