Hello fellow style curators! Thanks for keeping up with my posts and welcome to my second semester of fashion with CollegeFashionista! All summer long I will be taking you on a style adventure through the trendy streets of Toronto, Ontario. I have my cameras and cards ready so I hope you Fashionistas/os are on stand by with your short shorts and sunglasses. I’ll be photographing Toronto’s unique aesthetic and style at all the summer hot spots.
The Toronto fashion scene is as diverse as it’s people and I believe that no place or person should be defined by a single style. The urban jungle is a place for exploring and experimenting with different looks to express your own unique inner beauty.  The city’s vast collection of trendy venues are the best places to spot the latest trends and some new style ideas. Each location and neighborhood is deeply saturated in music and culture, bringing out a colorful mosaic of looks.
Toronto is home to some of the world’s most creative designers and shows such as: Fashion Art Toronto and World Mastercard Fashion Week. Since I am enrolled in a cinema and digital media program, I am presented with plenty of opportunities to participate in these different events and I hope to get to show you the high caliber of work that Canadian designers are responsible for.
Leaving high fashion aside, my go-to outfit for running around the city almost always includes a full length skirt or jumper. Jeans are my enemy and my mission this summer is to bring all of you comfortable, fashionable and affordable outfit ideas to help you conquer your very own hot summer city.
