STYLE GURU BIO: Nora Westberry

Hey there, fellow Fashionistas and Fashionistos! My name is Nora Westberry and I was born and raised in sunny Miami, Florida. I am currently a senior at the trendy Florida State University studying Retail Merchandising and Product Development with a minor focus in Business. I have an intense passion for fashion and live for personalized, unique stylization. Whether it’s through reading my favorite bloggers’ posts, exploring Pinterest or discovering unique boutiques online, I am always in search of new trends and am extremely excited to finally have the opportunity to share my findings with fellow fashion admirers.

Although it doesn’t make much of a difference for most Floridians, summer is officially here. This majestic season is all about wearing bright colors, tropical or floral prints, and nautical accessories while rocking tan lines and oversized beach bags. With summer trends in mind but my own unique stylization always in the forefront, today I went to brunch in a bright pink, neon, flare dress paired with Aztec, multicolored wicker heels. I accessorized with a gold semi-circular necklace, gold nautical bangle bracelets, gold starfish stud earrings, and my everyday gold watch. I then complimented the look with my latest obsession: summer 2015 Louis Vuitton pink monogram bag. Although seemingly simplistic, this outfit embodies my obsession with the color pink and my love for nautical accessories.

Going to school at Florida State has opened my eyes to a great deal of fashion diversity, and I sincerely look forward to inspiring you chic Fashionistas and Fashionistos by providing insight as to what trends are unraveling. As the wise Rachel Zoe once said, “Style is a way to say who you are without having to speak.” With that being said, be true to yourself and aim to experiment with your personal style each day by fearlessly taking fashion risks. Life is too short to wear boring clothes, so aim to be unique while keeping it chic!
