STYLE GURU BIO: Nicole Vizzi

Hello, my fellow fashion lovers! My name is Nicole Vizzi, and I’m studying public relations and journalism at Monmouth University. Being a senior, I’m really excited to have the opportunity to express my personal style with you guys—and the world—through CollegeFashionista and both my love for writing and love for fashion!

Fashion is a trend that is always changing, but I think it’s important to have your own signature style that expresses who you are as a person. Personally, I like to think of my style as classic comfort, yet bold enough to make a statement when I walk into a room. I feel that it’s all about wearing what makes you comfortable in your own skin; if you’re comfortable in what you’re wearing, it will show on the outside and radiant confidence wherever you go.

As you can tell by my photos, I love simple neutral colors like blacks, whites and cream colors. I think they give you room to dress them up or down, depending on how you’re feeling that day. I love a good cardigan layered on top of a comfy tank top. Jeans are also one of my favorite styles, whether they’re denim or colored. In the fall and winter, I love wearing a nice burgundy colored jean; I think they pair well with everyday jewelry like a long necklace and some stack-able bracelets. Shoes, in my opinion, could make or break an outfit; boots are a must during the colder weather, and they tie together any outfit.

Everyone has their own unique style which is what’s so #RAD about being a Style Guru for CollegeFashionista; you get to express your own style and appreciate others, too. I’m excited to share some styles, some tips and show off some awesome fashion this semester!
