STYLE GURU BIO: Morgan Lukaszewicz

Hey! My name is Morgan and I go to a tiny school in Pennsylvania called Muhlenberg College! When people ask me where I go to school they either immediately know my school and have some sort of connection to it or are standing there going, “What’s the name again?”. As small and sometimes unknown as it is, I love it here and I’m excited to start my final year on my tiny, beautiful campus!

Here at school I major in business administration and minor in Spanish, I’m excited to use my business knowledge and fashion expertise to pursue a career in the fashion industry post graduation (which will be here before I know it!). My other passions include lacrosse, as I’m a member of the women’s varsity lacrosse team on campus, photography, cooking, crafting, hanging out with friends and family and of course fashion! Fashion is a part of every single person’s life every day! You’re always wearing clothes and therefore always making a statement. Fashion can transform someone, it can make you feel powerful, intelligent, confident and most importantly, it can make you feel like your self!

I love experimenting with new trends and different styles, I definitely hop on the trend train from time to time, always pushing the envelope to make a statement and see how the style makes me look and feel. Even though I try out certain trends and my style is very eclectic; I usually revert to my “boho preppy style”! I’m a big fan of J. Crew as well as Free People and my outfits usually include pieces from one or the other brand.

This outfit is great piece to go from summer to fall with! The light fabric and off the shoulder detail makes it a great piece for summer but then the very trendy culotte style pant and rust and blank stripes make it appropriate for fall! Being that it was still super hot out in August, I paired my Free People culotte jumpsuit with some great flatform wedges and my favorite Ray-Ban aviators.

I love jumpsuits so much because they’re easy to throw on when you’re running out and they’re always so stylish! As it gets a little cooler it’s easy to throw a great denim jacket over your shoulders and put on a cool pair of black booties instead of wedges. Also in order to dress it down you can easily trade out the wedges for a pair of strappy sandals or simple sandals like Birkenstocks. I accessorized my jumpsuit with my beautiful David Yurman ring and necklace to dress it up a bit and then my sunglasses because it was a hot, sunny day. As the fall rolls around it’s easy to add a cute choker necklace and a floppy hat the make it more boho and more fall appropriate!

I love how the pockets give this jumpsuit a cool, casual feel!

I hope you loved my first bits of style inspirations Fashionistas/os!
