Hello everyone! I am a first time Fashionista and couldn’t be more grateful for this delightful opportunity. I hail from Michigan State University, and I am pursuing a Communications major and a Public Relations minor.

I grew up in a world of competitive dancing where trends and style were a very common subject. Every summer we would travel to California to compete and take classes from world renowned choreographers. This is where the inspiration all began. I would see trends at the competitions that were not even recognizable in Michigan, and I loved that. I learned that being different in the way that you dress is so self-gratifying, and people recognize you for it, too. Today, my friends and family often come to me for style advice, because they trust my eye for trends. I would consider my wardrobe to be affordable and chic with a few statement items that may have broken the bank.

I am also part of a student run fashion magazine at MSU called VIM Magazine and get to work with some of the most trendy girls and guys on campus. I love being inspired by a fashion trend that has never been seen before. For this reason, MSU is such a wonderful source for fashion trends. The different cultures and styles that I saw on my walks to class stunned me when I first arrived on campus. We have a broad range of international students as well as social classes, and they show their personalities through their fashion choices, whether they realize they do or not. I cannot wait to expose all the amazing campus trends for you all!
