STYLE GURU BIO: Molly Brosier

Hello Fashionistas and Fashionistos! My name is Molly Brosier and I am a Style Guru for the University of Mississippi this spring 2016. Let me tell you a little bit about myself.

I am a senior at the University of Mississippi majoring in integrated marketing communications with a minor in business administration and a specialization in public relations. That is the long way of saying I love communications and aspire to assist a company with media relations after graduation this coming May.

I am from Amarillo, Texas, which is the largest town in the Texas Panhandle. But by no means is Amarillo a large town. Not many people have heard of Amarillo, let alone been there, but it has been a wonderful place to grow up and a wonderful place to call home.

Living in Oxford, Mississippi and attending Ole Miss has been the greatest adventure. It has been an incredible experience to get to go to college a couple states away. Mississippi is a different world and I have loved getting to meet the amazing people, the historic culture and contributing a small part to a university that will leave a large legacy.

A few of my favorite things include snow skiing, mountains, photography, attempting to follow Pinterest recipes (failing most of the time), yoga, spending time with friends and family, traveling and of course fashion.

My personal style is not one that you pick out of a crowd as inspiring or groundbreaking but I admire those who break from the pack and dress impeccably while staying true to themselves. I would describe my style as casual and trendy. I love being in the middle of the most recent trends in fashion, but I also love to be comfortable yet express myself.

Rachel Zoe, fashion designer and stylist once said, “Style is a way to say who you are without having to speak.” I believe this statement to be very true. I feel women and men express themselves by what they choose to wear each day. Featured here is one of my favorite winter looks. I love to wear soft, cozy scarves and boots. Simple yet trendy is my go-to style.
