Wow time really flies when you’re having fun! I have been a Style Guru for a year now and I’m looking forward to yet another amazing season with everyone! I’m excited for all the new opportunities to learn and grow as a writer, photographer, social media user and Style Guru intern. It’s been such an inspiring and fun experience so far and I can’t wait to spend more time getting to know more from my fellow #gurugang team!
As I’m approaching the last few days of my sophomore year in college, I can’t help but think about all the new places and people I’ll get to go to and meet this summer especially as I travel to the East Coast where I’ll not only be soaking up the sun but also a lot of new trends, cool places and good food. So if you have any suggestions of places I should visit and food to try while I’m there, I would love to hear about it.
With the weather getting warmer, I’m so stoked to finally ditch layering on clothes and be able to wear loose clothing such as rompers, maxi dresses and skirts. Also, an outfit isn’t complete without a few accessories and even though it’s been in for awhile, I’m still obsessing over body chains and cool bracelets! I just think they’re great and simple finishing touches to the overall look.
As far as my style inspiration goes for this season, I’m just always on the look out mostly on Instagram, hauls on YouTube and on fashion blogs to keep up with what’s trending and since I’ll be traveling this summer, I will also be in the hunt for fashion and beauty inspiration to bring back to you all!
