STYLE GURU BIO: Meg Rotter

Hey everyone! My name is Meg and this is my third semester being a CollegeFashionista Style Guru at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Throughout my time as a Style Guru, I have had the opportunity to meet other fashionable girls, learn more about the editorial industry and to take part in new community events.

This summer I will be living on UW-Madison’s campus while I work as both a librarian and an editorial intern for Brava Magazine. I am super excited to learn more about the magazine industry and to find out all the fun activities that summer in the city promises. While the summer always brings a lot of fun, during the school year I stay pretty busy keeping up with CollegeFashionista, classes and my lovely friends. My intended major is Journalism with certificates in Studio Art and Digital Studies. It is my dream to one day work for a fashion and lifestyle magazine in New York.

Focusing more on my style, I have a tendency towards more classic looks. In this outfit, I went for a look that would be appropriate for a beach day. With summer almost upon us, I am obsessed with the latest warm weather wardrobes. In this look, I wore a black romper, a gold statement necklace, a beaded wrap bracelet and woven wedges. Channeling a more casual vibe, this look is classic with a hint of contemporary fashion.

While on campus, I am searching to find some unique summer style and to have a bit of fun along the way. Check back with me every Friday to learn about the latest summer trends on the University of Wisconsin’s campus!
