STYLE GURU BIO: Madison Rudman

What’s up, everyone? My name is Madison Rudman, but most people call me Madi. I am a sophomore at The University of Indianapolis studying public relations. This is my first semester at UIndy and also my first semester as a Style Guru and I could not possibly be more excited.

I began my schooling at The University of Arkansas, but ran into some unlucky health problems. I was diagnosed with Lyme Disease after having my first of many grand mal seizures during finals week in December of 2015. After spending an entire summer in Scottsdale, AZ for medical treatment my parents and I decided that a semester at home would be the best for my health. I’m doing really well and am so excited for what life has to bring.

To be completely honest, my style is all over the place. However, I always keep it simple. Black, white, and gray are always my go-to. In fact, I think I only own clothes that are black, white, and gray. Well, besides the off-the-shoulder top I am wearing. I’ve always thought that shoes can make or break an outfit. So depending on the look I’m going for, I might throw on a pair of old Converse or some cute booties. I also never stray too far from a nice pair of black skinny jeans. I mean you can’t go wrong.

I’ve been a Style Guru for all of two weeks and I already know that I am going to love it. I’m absolutely obsessed with fashion, beauty, and all things lifestyle—and lucky for me that’s exactly what CollegeFashionista is all about. I’m looking forward to an amazing semester!
