STYLE GURU BIO: Liz Clark

Hey there! My name is Liz Clark, and I hate to say that I have any “normal” style, or even a certain look at all. My look adapts to whatever environment I’m in at the moment because location affects my style more than any other social factor. Travel is a huge part of my life, and I love exploring how people dress in different areas.

This look was for a business trip in Miami, so the romper is casual enough for this sunny city, but the accessories add a little something to make it dressy enough for meetings. This printed romper can also be opened to a lower draped neckline for a new look that’s great for after work. I also enjoy mixing styles, whether relaxed and dressy, athleisure and formal, or any other different combinations. Like most other fashion lovers, I have a special place in my heart for a great pair of shoes. However, I always keep comfort in mind when shopping for a new pair. These sneaker flats are BCBG faux snakeskin and great for long days on my feet.

I’ve been interested in fashion for a while, and I’m now interested in almost every aspect of it. I especially enjoy photography, writing (which is why I’m a Style Guru, of course), and constantly checking out new trends. While I love getting inspired by other bloggers and Instagrammers, I think it’s important to be yourself and wear only what makes you feel happy, comfortable, and beautiful.

I am a third year student at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York studying International Trade and Marketing. However, this semester I will be studying abroad in Shanghai, China at Donghua University. Be sure to check out what kind of style I adopt once I’m there!
