Hello Fashionistas/os! My name is Lesia Sisung, and I just finished up my sophomore year at Sacred Heart University. I am currently majoring in Marketing with a double minor in Fashion Merchandising and Digital Advertising. I am so excited to have joined the CollegeFashionista team as a Style Guru. I cannot wait to combine my love for both fashion and photography this summer as I write about college styles.

When it comes to my own personal style, I tend to refer to my style as “classic with a twist.” Fun colors and bold patterns found in accessories help to transform an outfit from drab to fab in seconds! Personalizing is a fun way to make outfits unique. Monogram necklaces, like the one I am wearing, are becoming more and more popular. They add an individualized, yet simple touch to any outfit. Also, my Kendra Scott earrings can be personalized through The Color Bar. The Color Bar allows you to pick and choose the style, metal type and stone of a wide variety of different jewelry pieces. Personalizing jewelry helps to create one of a kind statement pieces that can spunk up any outfit. In the summer I love wearing neutral colors paired together. Here, I am wearing a nude colored tank that is accentuated with beading. Pairing this with white jeans and nude heals makes for an effortlessly simply summer outfit!

I love seeing how other people wear different pieces. If I see something I like, I usually try and incorporate it into my own personal style in such a way that fits me. When it comes to style, it is important to stay true to yourself. Wearing something that you do not like or do not feel comfortable in is the opposite of what fashion should be.

I am excited to start finding awesome styles around town and sharing them with the rest of you! I hope to find innovative ways to wear different pieces and incorporate them into my own style. Stay tuned for more fun and feminine looks that I will be blogging about this summer!
