Hi guys, welcome to my page! My name is Kylie Stetler, and I am an incoming junior at Drexel University studying fashion design. My dream job is to freelance fashion illustrations while I travel the world and blog about it. I’m so excited so start my first internship with CollegeFashionista and maybe learn how to actually blog.
My love for fashion came from my background in musical theatre and dance. I always loved getting into costume and automatically becoming a new person. Finally, I realized that you could do that with everyday clothing. I love getting dressed in the morning and deciding the person that I am going to be that day. Because of this, my style changes day to day. Sometimes I like bright colors and the ’70s and sometimes I dress like a ’90s mom. No matter what I wear, I never leave my house without my evil eye necklace and my cancer (my horoscope) necklace. I am a strong believer of the evil eye because I like the idea of something watching over and protecting me. I am also a strong believer in platform heels, lipstick, ice cream, really really high ponytails and stand-up comedy. I play the ukulele, I love to paint and I relate to Jessica Day on a personal level.
For this outfit, I chose a classic white-on-white combination because I am super sad about summer coming to an end. I wanted to focus on combining comfort with style, so I wore my favorite white lace romper. I love how easy it is to dress up or down and how the lace adds just the right amount of femininity. The sweater keeps the outfit boho with it’s baggy shape but adds a little bit of chic with the off-the-shoulder trend. I love the cool simple look, but I cannot wear it without a pop of bright color somewhere. My rings and earrings feature my favorite color, turquoise! My shoes are the perfect amount of heel to wear to add color and still be casual and cute.
