Happy summer, everyone! I am so excited to be returning for my fourth term as a Style Guru. Some things you should know about me are: I’m a journalism major at the University of Oregon, fall is my favorite season (unless you count the holiday season), and my favorite color is forest green. I love to sing, dance, bake and binge-watch Netflix—I’m currently re-watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer. My favorite band is Mumford and Sons, but the Jackson 5 really gets me going. I also love Taylor Swift, Adele, Beyoncé and Hozier.

Another thing I love is putting multiple outfits on at once. That’s not to say I want to be like Joey Tribbiani and put everything I own on. I just like being able to change with the weather, occasion or feeling. Starting with a bralette, I have maximum comfort without the torture of a real bra. It also looks cute with the lace showing. The green crop top is a recent addition to my wardrobe, and it’s quickly becoming a staple. Not only is olive green a great color for red hair, but it’s also a great neutral piece to add under anything. The sweater adds just the right amount of comfort—enough for me to relax on a couch but not enough to make me want to take a nap. The jacket tops it all off with a trendy, cool look while keeping me warm during the cloudy May days. Black skinny jeans are the perfect neutral bottoms to go with anything, and white high-top Converse are my go-to shoes for every day.

I can’t wait to see what this summer has in store for college fashion! Happy summer!
