Hello everyone! I’m so excited to be back as a Style Guru for CollegeFashionista. For those of you who don’t know me, my name is Kelly Flood and I am from Long Island, New York. I am currently a junior at SUNY Oneonta studying fashion merchandising.
My first semester as a Style Guru was over the summer and it was an amazing experience. I always wanted to start my own blog, and CollegeFashionista gives me a taste of it. I took off fall semester and now I am back and can’t wait to see where this semester takes me!
My favorite thing to do is decide what I am going to wear for the day. Dressing up in nice and comfortable outfit makes me feel motivated to start my day and get things done. I wouldn’t say that I have a specific style; I love to follow different trends and change up my style.
In the winter, my go-to outfit is jeans, a sweater, or sweatshirt and a beanie. For this article, I am dressed in American Eagle Outfitters jeans and an oversized sweatshirt from Mystique Boutique with holes in it to spice up the look. I paired this outfit with black suede booties to give it a nicer look. For accessories, I am wearing a black, Michael Kors crossbody purse and a black beanie. Beanies are one of my favorite things to wear in the winter. They are a perfect way to add a little something to your outfit and are great with pretty much every outfit. They’re also a quick and easy way to fix a bad hair day.
I am so excited to be back for another semester and can’t wait to keep sharing outfits with all of you.
