What’s up, Guru Gang?!
I’m super excited to be a part of CollegeFashionista for the first time this summer ’16!
Allow me to introduce myself, my name is… Kathleen Osorio (cue laughter). I am currently a junior at Georgia State University studying journalism with a concentration in multi-media reporting. This summer you can find me figuring out how to use this new DSLR camera, stalking my favorite bloggers, trying different makeup and enjoying every day of beautiful weather.
Fashion and I have always had a funny love story. I look back at high school photos and think “MY GOODNESS! WHY?!” but that is what fashion is: experimentation! Some people will love it and others won’t, and that can apply to many areas of life. My personal style has a wide range, I would say. I can appreciate the most preppy look to the most edgy one, and I try to incorporate that into my daily wear. The photos above give you just a hint into what I am about.
Ripped or distressed denim isn’t going anywhere soon, so go ahead and load up on those jeans, and throwing on a pair of strappy sandals can add an extra “oomf” to any outfit. A well-put together casual look can take you very far throughout a long day. It can easily transition from day to night with a quick change of accessories and a pair of heels! The main reason I love casual looks is they usually include jeans. I. LOVE. JEANS. I’m the girl who wears jeans in 90-degree weather and doesn’t mind.
I have been waiting for the summer weather to start I can’t wait to see what other Style Gurus report on and I can’t wait to show you how #RAD Atlantans are.
