Hey there, CollegeFashionista world! I’m Julie, but almost everyone calls me Jules. I am currently a student at Florida Gulf Coast University majoring in marine science with possible minors in climate change and photojournalism.
For a bit of background about me, I moved around a ton, living in New Jersey, Chicago, and Florida. After settling into Florida after my many moves, I really started to discover my love of fashion, specifically fashion of the boho sorts. I’d say my style is a mix of Free People clothing, concert T-shirtss, funky ’70s pieces, and earthy layers. I also make it a point to incorporate accessories with ocean and nature details into my looks since I am an extreme nature lover (as you can see by what my major and interests are).
Fashion is a way of expressing yourself and feeling confident in whatever threads you choose. Everyone’s taste is different, and I have an appreciation for all kinds of styles. I am so ecstatic to have this opportunity to be a Style Guru for CollegeFashionista!
In this look, I am wearing one of my favorite skirts I picked up from the boutique I worked at during high school! The tulle gives it a feminine look next to the Rolling Stones dragon T-shirt on top. With all the darkness, I add a bright mustard bag, turquoise bracelets, edgy rings, and a pair of fringe booties to express my love of boho apparel. The black square scarf is also an accessory I love adding to any outfit! I hope you all love this look as much as I do, and check me out on my social media.
