Welcome back, readers! I’m so excited to return for another semester with CollegeFashionista and can’t wait to see what’s in store for 2017. If you’re new to reading my posts then I’m so glad you stopped by and hope you will join me during my third semester as a Style Guru.
To refresh everyone—I’m Jordyn, a sophomore at Ohio University studying retail merchandising and fashion product development. If you know me, then you know that my love for Drake and Rihanna is unbearable and with recent news of his new “girlfriend”, J-Lo, I’ve been struggling just as hard as some of you might have as 2016 came to a close. If you can catch me on campus, I’m definitely bopping my head to either of these two on my way to class or to the university center where I work. I’m constantly busy running from photo shoots for the fashion magazine on my campus to getting ready for date parties and philanthropy events going on with my sorority.
You’ll most likely find me rocking my favorite Adidas Superstars since they’re the perfect shoe for an on-the-go gal. My friends always tell me that I have a knack for keeping with the basics but somehow turning them into something unique. A plain white T-shirt is my saving grace when it comes to an outfit because it can be dressed up or down in an instant. I decided to make this look more comfy-cozy by throwing on my favorite oversized cardigan. The big pockets, soft material, and huge hoodie make it feel like you’re still wearing pajamas to class while looking effortlessly put together.
I’m eager to continue showcasing all of the different trends the bricks of Athens, Ohio and 2017 has to offer. Looking forward to bringing you all along with me this semester!
