STYLE GURU BIO: Jenny Eberhardt

Hello Fashionistas/os!

My name is Jenny Eberhardt and I am a senior at Penn State University majoring in Broadcast Journalism and triple minoring in French, Sociology and International Studies. I am also a sister of Kappa Kappa Gamma. This semester, I am taking the LSAT exam and aspiring to head to law school next fall. I am so excited to be a Style Guru for CollegeFashionista this semester!

I have loved fashion and have played with trends since I was about three years old. My first signature outfit consisted of little patterned yoga shorts, a pair of shades, clear jellies and a fluffy, pink boa. Fortunately, I would like to think that my style has progressed past those stand out ensembles.

A few of my favorite things include anything pink or blue, my new double bed, my German Shepherd, traveling and skydiving.

Last semester, I had the amazing opportunity to study abroad in the south of France, where I took in so many new and exciting fashion trends. The best trends that I saw in France were long trench coats, big, chunky scarves and Yankees baseball hats (not sure why, but people LOVED them).

Currently, my favorite places to shop are Free People, ASOS, Urban Outfitters and Steve Madden. This season, I would have to say that my favorite items to wear are jackets and boots. I recently purchased an emerald green bomber jacket and a vegan leather fringe jacket, as well as some amazing platform ankle boots.

My go-to outfit any day would definitely be a pair of ripped jeans (either skinny or boyfriend), rainbows, a cute bralette, a baggy sweater and a scrunchie (I am constantly playing with my hair and different styles)—this totally encompasses my signature comfy/casual look.
