STYLE GURU BIO: Isabel Klee

Hey everyone! I am so excited to start my first semester as a Style Guru here at CollegeFashionista.

My name is Isabel and I’m a senior at Marymount Manhattan College in New York City, majoring in English and minoring in communications. I spend my time writing, taking pictures, interning and eating delicious food. This is my second year living in the city, after taking some time off from school to do a little traveling around the world – backpacking in Europe, nannying abroad and taking a pit stop for a while in Hawaii.

For the past three summers, I’ve worked in the California Sierra Mountains as a photographer at a summer camp, so I’m excited to take my photography from action-based shots to fashion. I’m also a PR intern for Zac Posen, which has taught me so much and completely opened my eyes to the fashion world. Living in New York inspires me every single day, from the food, to the street style and everything in-between.

My personal style has evolved immensely since settling down here, and is constantly changing a bit each day. If I had to describe my style in one word it would be “classic” – I love neutrals, timeless pieces and trying to combine the perfect mix of masculine and feminine. I also have an obsession (some may call it a problem) with buying jackets from thrift stores. But you can never have too many jackets, right? Right.

Here, I am wearing an H&M leather skirt, a kate spade watch, and my favorite Ray-Ban sunglasses.

I can’t wait to show you all the amazing, stylish people New York has to offer!
