Hi! My name is Hayley Posner and I am a rising junior at the University of Denver. I’m majoring in Medias Studies, minoring in Fine Arts and Communications Studies and will be studying abroad this fall in Prague at Charles University. I am so incredibly excited to be returning this summer as a Style Guru for CollegeFashionista. In addition to being a Style Guru this summer, I will also be working as an intern for Christie’s in New York City. While I will miss Denver and the great outdoors this summer, I am very happy to be going home to New York.
Fashion has always been a big part of my life and I am so happy to get the chance to grow as a fashion writer and photographer through being a Style Guru. Being a Style Guru has been such an amazing opportunity for me, especially because I have gotten the chance to know so many awesome Fashionistas on and around my campus. I have definitely updated my style since becoming a Style Guru, however I would still describe my style as eclectic cool and totally unique to me!
Style-wise, I would say that I definitely have grown and matured over the past year and gained some new sources of inspiration, however I still hold true to my love of burgundy and olive green. Some of my current spring/summer fashion obsessions include lace-up sandals and black felt hats. I have also collect some really awesome statement pieces since starting as a Style Guru such as a lace-up long sleeve top, and strappy open-toed heels. This summer I anticipate seeing a lot of flowing dresses and laid back looks in light colored pallets on the streets.
