Bonjour! My name is Gina Cangemi. I’m a 20 year old fashion Merchandising student at Kent State University. I am crazy about the fashion world and I always have been ever since I was a two year old toddler who would much rather have a new dress than a new toy. I also love Jesus, adore fashion, admire New York City, appreciate family, indulge in chocolate and embrace my weirdness! I was born and raised in Blue Crab, Maryland, but I live in Ohio during the beautiful fall season and harsh winters of the school year. I will reside within the incredible New York City in the heat of summer for an amazing social media internship!
I cannot wait to get this summer started with CollegeFashionista! I am not just passionate about fashion, but social media as well! I love the connection between the two and find it amazing how influential different styles from people and places across the world via blogs can be! Currently, my favorite pieces to wear have been dresses and skirts from low to high. I am loving light maxi dresses for the summer; the long skirt elongates the body and not to mention, they are incredibly comfy! I have also been enjoying the top knot hairstyle in this summer heat. I think adding a headband creates an extra “pop” to the style! Lastly, nothing beats a good pair of go-to sandals we love to pull out of our closets more than a few times a week!
