Hello there! I am a new Style Guru for the summer of 2016. My name is Gabriele Singh and I am a rising senior at Susquehanna University. I’m majoring in public relations with minors in advertising and comparative cultures. I like to spend my spare time escaping to other realities within the bindings of books, breathing in the fresh scents of nature and soaking up the sun on walks or hikes, playing ultimate frisbee and writing.

For as long as I can remember, I have enjoyed fashion and beauty. I find fashion interesting because it is one of the most prominent ways that people are able to represent themselves to the world. My family always said that I could make absolutely anything look good. As I’ve matured, I’ve come to realize that this is simply not the case, nonetheless, I have so much fun figuring out what works on my body type as well as on others.

My style is incredibly eclectic. I find the concept of a minimal wardrobe appealing, but right now I have a variety of different looks in my closet. My staple pieces include my Converse sneakers, anything with stripes, chambray button-down, and cardigans. Fall is my favorite   season to dress for because of the warm/deep tones and fun layering. I happen to be at my happiest when I can throw on a scarf to finish off my outfit; they are my weakness. It is my personal belief that one can never have too many scarves.

I am excited to share my views on the fashion that I am surrounded by and to see where this CollegeFashionista journey takes me.
