Hi, stylish people! My name is Franki Rudnesky, a junior at Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia, and I’m super excited to begin my second semester as a Style Guru for CollegeFashionista!
If I were to describe my personal style, I’d definitely say that it’s a mixture of boho and trendy. I’m always perusing the latest fashion magazines, blogs and the Instagram accounts of my favorite celebs to see what new looks I can incorporate into my closet.
Right now, as we’re transitioning from summer to fall (sadly), I’m obsessing over ripped jeans, bodysuits, chokers and fringe! Unique sunglasses are a must for me, and I believe that makeup is one of the best accessories a gal can wear, especially lipstick.
As a girl with a unique name, growing up, I could never find anything with my name on it. So, last Christmas I was over the moon when I saw a necklace engraved with “Franki” under the tree. Needless to say, I’ve been obsessively wearing it ever since.
At Saint Joseph’s University, I’m on the cheerleading squad, in a sorority and involved with the student newspaper and a national blog; so you could say I’m pretty involved! No matter how busy I get, though, I always try to put an effort into my looks. When I look my best, I feel my best too!
I’m currently studying English with a concentration in journalism, because reading and writing have always been my passions since I was a little girl. Along with books, I also love traveling, fashion, photography, dogs, One Direction, Drake, Harry Potter, Star Wars, iced coffee, reality TV and about a billion other things. I guess you could say I’m a nerdy tween in a 20-year-old’s body, but that’s okay!
My dream is to write for a major magazine or publication, so writing for CollegeFashionista is definitely a step in the right direction! I’m so excited to share with you my favorite looks from around my campus this fall!
