STYLE GURU BIO: Felicity Warner

Hello there! I’m Felicity Warner and I’m extremely thrilled to be joining the CollegeFashionista as a Style Guru Intern this spring! I am currently a sophomore pursuing my degrees in Editing, Writing, and Media and Media/Communications Studies at Florida State University in Tallahassee, FL. I have a passion for writing and editing, and hope to one day turn this passion of mine in to a career as an editor-in-chief at magazine one day.

Besides writing, I love spending my time reading magazine articles and learning new things everyday about fashion, pop culture, world news, and other interesting information. I also love to spend my time blogging on my personal blog, doing DIY projects, and of course keep up with all of my favorite celebrities and magazine media accounts on Twitter and Instagram.

My personal style would definitely be labeled as preppy, chic, and carefree. I’m a sucker for a classy watch & stacked bracelet look, as well as fingers filled up with flashy rings and midi rings galore. I swear by my favorite black ankle boots, even though they sometimes betray me when it’s hot and humid in Florida. However, a simple white tank top, high waisted jean shorts, and strappy sandals combo can sometimes fulfill my fashion needs. Most importantly, I’m a strong believer in winged eyeliner and red lipstick for any occasion. My love for makeup is stronger than ever, and I will find any excuse to get all dolled up in my favorite makeup products.

In this look, I’m sporting my go-to white tank top (as mentioned before) which I bought a size larger to achieve a looser, more free flowing look. I decided to pair it with my favorite jeans which I always love to roll up at the bottom. I added my black ankle boots and a black and gold purse (from Forever 21 but is no longer being sold) to balance out the white and maintain a minimalist look. I added a long crystal necklace just to tie in with my gold accents and to add a bit of edge, along with my favorite gold Fossil watch and a simple matte gold bracelet. Lastly, I’m wearing my favorite bright maroon lipstick from Smashbox to add a pop of color to this simple look.

I am so excited to begin my journey as a Style Guru Intern, and I can’t wait to learn and explore college fashion through CollegeFashionista while representing Florida State!
