STYLE GURU BIO: Dominique Regalado

Next up, round five! As always, I’m super excited to be a Style Guru for College Fashionista for yet another epic semester. We’re just getting back to school and I can already tell it’s going to be a busy year. Don’t let that dissuade your love for fashion and cultivating your personal style. This is the time we all discover who we are as individuals and shape our own identities.

Lately, I’ve been trying to incorporate colors into my personal style. I’m very into earthy tones and deep reds at the moment so I’ll probably be looking out for those outfits on Georgia State’s campus this semester. Atlanta is jam packed with culture and people with all kinds of different styles. Georgia State is nevertheless in the heart of where all the inspiration happens.

Patterns are also currently my thing. I’ve always had a silent adoration for plaid and floral print but there’s something about intricate bohemian-inspired patterns that can be really classy and interesting to play with. Nude is more of a fall color but as we’re nearing the change in season I decided it would be okay to bring it out. I love boat neck tops and any off shoulder blouse, so I decided on this flesh tone tube top and matching sandals.

I went ahead and paired these pieces with flowy, boho-style shorts that I made myself. For a more fun, summery vibe, I added a small fringe purse with a gold chain detail and mixed chain fringe earrings. Hope you Fashionista/os enjoy my articles this semester as I will enjoy writing them for you.
