STYLE GURU BIO: Daniella Cornetto

Hello my fellow Fashionista/os! I am back again this semester and I am feeling even more confident than the past. For those of you who do not know me, my name is Daniella Cornetto. I attend the Fashion Institute of Technology, studying advertising and marketing communications. I aspire to work in fashion public relations. Fashion has always been a part of my life. It is the only thing I am “good” at. While others may play a sport, draw, or play an instrument, I’m infatuated with fashion. Fashion is an art, it is a way of expression, and I think it is the most important art there is. I do not have a definite style. I definitely like to experiment with different styles, especially since I go to a fashion school. I am constantly surrounded by different types of people and their own sense style. Every time I walk onto campus, I am influenced by such unique individuals. This helped me a lot to step outside my comfort zone and to think outside the box.

Fashion is not the only thing I love—I love to travel. One of the top things on my bucket list is to travel to all 50 states before I turn 50. Cliché maybe, but ever since my junior year high school English teacher told my class that this was his mom’s goal, it’s stuck with me. I have gone to twelve states already, but I hope to add some more onto my list this year. I love adventuring and seeing how beautiful nature is.

This semester I hope to inspire not only your outfit ideas, but your life as well. I want to bring positivity to people who need it the most.

For this look, I wanted to look chic and be cozy at the same time. The other day it was 60 degrees outside, which is crazy for December! The long sleeve graphic shirt paired perfectly with the black skater skirt. It was very comfortable, but what makes this chic is the fur trim, long vest and the Givenchy bag. The over the knee black boots elevate this look by bringing the whole outfit together.
