STYLE GURU BIO: Chloe Sucato

It seems like just the other day I joined the CollegeFashionista team. It was a completely new experience that challenged me to improve my writing abilities and interact with fellow fashion fanatics. Now, I am returning for another semester and I could not be more excited.

In the spirit of the New Year, I set some resolutions that I hope to accomplish by the end of this semester. With some experience under my belt, I want to focus on improving the quality of my pictures and taking my writing skills to an even higher level.

In addition to professional goals, I also have several fashion goals that I want to accomplish in 2016. We all have a couple of pieces in our closets that get pushed to the back and hardly worn. I plan on doing a major closet clean-out so that I either incorporate these neglected pieces back into my wardrobe or I donate them. This will not only freshen and lighten my closet, but will also help me see any gaps or voids in my wardrobe. I want to work on building a well-rounded closet that is tailored to my personal style and can adequately express my fashion whims and trials.

Although I prefer to wear neutral colors, I want to broaden my horizons and play more with colors, either through accessories, shoes, or clothes. Some of my favorite pieces over the past year include a statement leather jacket, a classic chambray shirt and a relaxed pair of jogger pants. While I will continue to love and wear these pieces, I want to find new ways to style them so that they remain fresh.

Get ready for another RAD semester!
