Hi lovelies, I’m Caitlin Quill. I live in Chicago, Illinois, but I’m originally from New Jersey. Going to school and living in a city helps shape my style and makes me more aware of what’s going on in fashion. I can’t keep the latest trends and shopping out of my mind when I’m walking around. In my day-to-day activities, there is so much to be inspired by. Also, because I’m from the Jersey Shore, I add a more relaxed twist to my style that really helps express who I am.
I’m so excited to start being a Style Guru intern, so I can work on expressing my style with you guys and also the style of some of the amazing people around me. Being in a city you get a wide range of styles and that’s one of the amazing things about city life. DePaul is no exception to these wide ranges of styles.
I’m totally a cold weather style girl. I love ripped jeans, boots, sweaters and my favorite leather jacket, especially because it’s socially acceptable to wear black everyday. So finding a summer wardrobe that I find fashionable can be a bit of a challenge, but I plan to mix my minimalist-meets-edgy style with funky T-shirts, distressed denim and cool accessories that help liven up my wardrobe. So, stay tuned for my annual struggle, maybe I can help some of you that have the same issue.
This summer is going to be amazing being a Style Guru intern, being able to express my style and be more creative. I can’t wait to inspire you all and be motivated by this #RAD community that is CollegeFashionista.
