STYLE GURU BIO: Brianna Fox-Priest

Why is fashion important? Because wearing the right outfit can do a lot of things for you. It can help score that job you always wanted, boost your confidence and show off your personality. What you wear says a lot about you. Since my first day of kindergarten, teachers and students alike have pointed out how unusual my last name is (something I am proud of now), and I am often remembered because of it. If I do say so myself, I got into fashion because I wanted people to remember me not only for my name, but for the cool outfits I wear.

I gather inspiration for an outfit from my surroundings, other students and my favorite beauty/fashion bloggers. My style cannot really be placed into one category, because it often changes on a daily basis. Some days I go for a sweet and girly look with a skater skirt, a flowy crop top and a statement necklace, while other days I rock my jean jacket with a over sized V-neck, ripped skinnies and combat boots. I love being able to change my style by combining pieces to make a totally different look. At the moment I enjoy paring neutrals with bold jewelry. I receive joy out of creating a outfit based around one item (it’s the little things in life!). So it’s not much of a shock why I want to pursue a career in styling. You can usually find me shopping in Forever 21, H&M, or Francesca’s.

Being a part of the CollegeFashionista team is a dream come true! I cannot wait to show you all my style and the fashions of other Fashionistas/os here at the University of Delaware! Your Mondays just got a whole lot better!
