Hi Fashionistas and Fashionistos! My name is Briana Lewis and I am so excited to be continuing this Style Guru experience for this summer. I attend Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida. I am an Editing, Writing and Media major and I have a love for fashion, so I am glad to be able to combine the two. My career goals are be able to work in the fashion PR industry, or to work for a fashion magazine as a writer or editor.
Having previous experience as a Style Guru for the first time during the spring semester, I feel as though I have learned, improved and gained a lot of experience. Taking professional pictures of people with a DSLR camera has really helped me to learn more about photography and how to work a camera. Interning for CollegeFashionista has really become a hobby of mind and I love that I am gaining experience like this, because I know it will be necessary in my future career. I truly enjoy practicing outside of the internship and taking pictures, by having mini photoshoots with my friends.
Also, I have opened my eyes to notice how many stylish students there are on Florida State’s campus. It helps me to notice current trends that are spreading from the runway to street style and college students. I love noticing how everyone expresses themselves through their fashion, and I am excited to what I find around Florida State’s campus this summer semester.
