As the fall semester comes to a close, I am thrilled that my time with CollegeFashionista is not ending. This spring semester will be my third time interning as a Style Guru and I could not be more excited about the ongoing opportunities they provide. This semester will be busy for me with school and looking for summer internships in the fashion industry, but I am relieved to be able to spend some down time seeking out fashionable students on campus.

Since starting my journey with CollegeFashionista, I have noticed my style evolve. I am interested in more simple and versatile pieces for my wardrobe with a few added statement pieces. I have recently had a desire for some fabulous faux fur pieces in my wardrobe, so that will certainly be on my wish list over the next few chilly months. Some other trends I am looking to embrace are luxurious feather pieces like this skirt and two-piece outfits as the temps warm up this spring. When I am not studying or internship planning you can bet that I am online searching for the perfect look for each of these categories. I am convinced I will be adding all these trends to my wardrobe in the near future!

Although I will miss cozy and cute fall sweaters and jeans, I am ready for a daily wardrobe change. One of my favorite things about this time of year is seeing how people embrace the challenging midwestern weather and show off their style. I think dressing in colder temperatures and maintaining a sense of style is an under-appreciated skill for those of us growing up in the Midwest. Therefore, I plan to give praise to all my fellow Fashionistas/os out there this semester.

In the meantime, I am looking forward to a short holiday break off from school and spending time with family and friends. Hopefully, I will also spend some time Netflix binging on my favorite shows and eating lots of delicious holiday treats. After break, I cannot wait to return to Madison and locate the best dressed on campus. I think this will be the best semester yet!
