STYLE GURU BIO: Alma Gomez

Third time’s the charm, right? I’m so glad to be back writing for CollegeFashionista for a third semester! It’s crazy to think that it’ll be my last. I’m a senior at The University of Tampa who will be graduating in May. I’m definitely in denial and do not want to be an adult, but it is something we all have to do eventually. Part of me is excited to go into the real world and jump into the fashion industry. I have learned so much by just being a part of the CollegeFashionista team and I am ready to learn some more.

Fashion is a huge passion of mine and I love connecting with others who feel the same. It’s a place where I can express myself and get creative. Plus, who doesn’t love getting dressed up every day. This semester I’m super focused on all things fashion and Alma. I have finished a big position on my campus and classes are starting to dwindle down. Luckily, I finished all my important classes so I can take it pretty easy my last semester. This gives me much more time to put into my articles here as well as my posts on my own blog. I’m excited to be able to dedicate more time to something that I love.

This means I also get to style a ton of outfits! I can try on different outfits from my closet for hours just to see what my options are. Yes, I do take forever to pick an outfit for class. Anyways, being back home for the holidays and chilly weather inspired me. I go to college in Florida, so it doesn’t get too cold. I really wanted to wear a scarf, so I grabbed this cool-toned floral scarf and hung it around my neck over a cream knit sweater. To top off my cozy look, I had to add some black booties and a gorgeous pink quilted purse. Let’s just say I love this outfit so much that I have worn it more than once in less than a week.

Now that you have gotten a little taste of my style, I’m on my way to find other Fashionistas/os who can inspire us all!
