STYLE GURU BIO: Alexis Campbell

Hello everyone, my name is Alexis! I am a sophomore at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University. I am a double major student, studying psychology and fashion merchandising and design. This is my first semester as a Style Guru for CollegeFashionista, and I am so excited for you all to read my content and see my pictures. Writing has always been one of my favorite things to do and my recent fascination for photography is growing day by day. Being able to combine my love for fashion and writing has made me very excited to express my style to you all and show you how others express themselves, as well.

I have a combination of styles that tend to change every so often. My style ranges from classy to preppy and anything in between. I like to experiment with different styles, sometimes attempting an edgy or minimalist style. I look at fashion like it is an art and your body is the canvas. Being able to express yourself is what makes me love fashion so much; it gives me a sense of freedom. It’s okay to have only one style, and it’s also acceptable to have various styles. It’s all about whatever works for you and makes you feel comfortable!

For my featured look, I am wearing a burnt orange cardigan from JCPenney over a basic white T-shirt. Underneath, I am wearing a stylish pair of olive green skinny jeans. Inspired by my Cherokee ancestors, I added my favorite moccasins to the outfit to give it the perfect touch of flare.

I hope you all like this look and enjoy my content throughout the semester. Follow my social media to stay up to date with my latest posts. Comments and other feedback are always welcome!
