Hey Fashionistas! As you all know, summer is for flaunting the whites in your closet. I live by the rule “no white after labor day,” so anything from dresses, skirts, pants or blazers brings out that summer fever. I love white in general, but especially during summer for festival season and to accentuate your glowing tan! White can be played up in many ways; you can accent it or go completely monochromatic. Either way, you’re sure to look chic!
This Fashionista knows how to step up her work style from black to white. The usual color for work is black, but she changes the scene completely by accenting her whole outfit with a white jersey blazer! Not only is the color rad but the material is too! Jersey is an up-and-coming textile that’s been given a lot of attention, and it’s perfect for summer as it’s pretty lightweight. This cool combination of jersey on top of a denim button-down is nontraditional  and gives a whole new meaning to workwear. She played up her whole outfit with matte black jeans, some black booties and a sophisticated gray tote that totally reads business!
One of the best things about this outfit is where she’s wearing it to—work! She goes against all usual stereotypes about the color white and that it’s not made for work. This Fashionista nails the professional look by utilizing this actually work-appropriate shade.
